Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev claimed his first championship for over two years with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has had a difficult year, winning just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
The player's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in especial - resulted in him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately parting ways with former trainer his previous coach.
Currently training with his coach and his other coach, Medvedev has gradually improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought competitive win over opponent Moutet.
It is his maiden title following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court from spring of the previous year.
Victory also indicates the Russian has won twenty-one victories at 21 various events.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a event with my two daughters at once, so to secure a championship is especially meaningful," commented tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I won when my child her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had lost his past six championship matches, featuring in that event previously this season.
The player's retrieving approach and recurring emotional displays on court had prompted some to wonder if his capacity to play at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the athlete has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and perform positively, supported by an better serving game.
Medvedev fought back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky Frenchman, winning four of the concluding five exchanges to gain the advantage.
Both players swapped service breaks in the following set before the Frenchman, attempting for his initial professional title, seized the initiative to force a decider.
The opponent rescued 4 early break points in a close final set before the Russian won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, the winner secured the win with a rally at the net area, with the Frenchman incapable to control a return after over two and a half hours.
